Microsoft offers a patched patch for IE

Microsoft has released an updated patch for an IE fix it released six weeks ago. Seems there was a bug in the original. Also, Novell has released a version of Windows Messaging for Win2K, and three new viruses have surfaced. Exterminator has the details.

Exterminator brings you weekly updates on bug fixes, virus recovery, service release announcements, and security notices for Windows, Novell, Linux, and other systems.

GroupWise uses MAPI to allow the use of e-mail in Windows programs. The Windows 2000 CD doesn’t include MAPI, so to use Windows Messaging on your Win2K machine, you need to download this version from Novell. Please note that this download is only for Windows NT4 and 2000, and the version of Windows Messaging on the GroupWise 5.5 CD is only for Windows 95/98.
