PayPal has launched a developer-oriented resource centre designed to help coders integrate PayPal into applications. The Integration Center contains software development kits (SDKs), and tools to aid integration.

The tools are pitched at a wide range of Web developers, from those with little more than standard HTML experience through to advanced coders familiar with SOAP and Web services.

SDKs are available for Java, PHP, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, and Classic ASP, and include client libraries that call PayPal Web Service APIs, documentation, test and sample code.

PayPal, a subsidiary of eBay, allows Internet users to securely send and receive money throughout the world. At the end of 2005, PayPal claimed it had over 96 million registered accounts.
