Tracking social media mentions: 4 tools

Keep up with the chatter surrounding your brand with these 4 tools.

People are talking about your brand— or at least you hope, right? If you're trying to keep up with the chatter, there are more than a few ways to do that.

First is the aptly named Mention. Mention alerts you whenever you're, well, mentioned, anywhere on the internet. The service also generates activity reports.

Second is Twilert. Pick a keyword, like your brand name, and get an email notification in real time when someone starts talking about it.

Third, if you're just looking for a quick snapshot of how folks online are talking about you, there's Social Mention. Type in your brand name, again, for example, and get stats on the last time it was mentioned and where.

And fourth, there's Twazzup. Twazzup rounds up mentions and shows you who your top influencers are, as well as top associated keywords.
