With Access 2007's new split form, you don't need to switch from Form View to Datasheet View to compare data in each view. The split form shows a data sheet in the lower section and a form in the upper section so you can enter information about a selected record in the data sheet. To create a split form based on a table, follow these steps:
- Double-click the table in the Database Navigation Pane.
- Click the Create Tab on the ribbon.
- Click the Split Form command button in the Form group.
You can make either the form or the datasheet section larger by clicking and dragging the splitter bar in the middle up or down accordingly. You can then select a record from the list to edit a form.
