If one of your new year's resolutions is to get out from under your spirit-crushing job, you may have some help. (As are September and October by the way, since recruitng cycles tend to ramp up after vacation and holiday breaks.) Also, a lot of companies put off making new hires until the new year. So if you haven't already, get that resume out and brush it off. Comb the job boards and contact friends and contacts to let them know you're looking.
