30 more ubergeeks worth following on Twitter

A geek stalker's work is never done. After our first list of 50 ubergeeks on Twitter, we found a whole bunch more, and then we were nice enough to list them for you. Enjoy.

reinforcing my position that everyone is more interesting when provided the space to expand, and less entertaining on a limited communications medium that emphasizes speed of posting over considered content. There are many names on this list who's professional work I admire or even love, but none of the three Twitter pages I checked brought me any insight. Maybe it's just me, TR's resident Twitter curmudgeon.

OK, so this is a great list of celebs, comics, and writers but what about actual IT geeks. You should do a list of people who tweet about IT, security, and technology things. I think that would be a much more interesting list. Here are some of my favorite Tech twitters Sites: @techrepublic @arstechnica @sans_isc @twit - Tech podcast network @frugal_it @rww @DCoT @You2Gov People: @timoreilly - that guy with the books @LeoLaporte - that guy with the podcasts @jasonhiner - He writes for some website or something. @mckeay - NetSecPodcast host @rmogull - Other NetSecPodcast host @ginatrapani - Founder of Lifehacker @thurrott - WinSuperSite @cshirky - Writer @rael - Twitter engineer @ITSinsider @gcluley @turoczy @TheInfovore @cheeky_geek @immunity I'd love to see lists from other people of their favorite IT related tweeters.
