On May 8, 2008, I posted a podcast interview with Annalee Newitz in the TR Out Loud blog on TechRepublic. I realize that a lot of Geekend fans and faithfuls may not have even seen the post, much less listened to the podcast, which is why I am posting this tasty little morsel here for you folks.

Why should you care? Well, if you're a true geek, then you already know about Annalee Newitz. After all, she's written about technology and science for over the past 10 years. You can find her writing in national magazines and newspapers, such as Wired, Popular Science, New Scientist, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal, plus she writes the nationally-syndicated column called Techsploitation.

And yes, for all you girl geeks out there, Annalee is the co-editor of She's Such a Geek, which is a collection of essays by women who are self-identified geeks.
