Geek travel tips via your iPhone

With The Geek Atlas Companion iPhone app, you can search for sites nearest you, learn about most of the sites via Wikipedia and quizzes, and upload photos of your geeky vacations.

I recently reviewed The Geek Atlas, a travel book by John Graham-Cumming about geeky destinations. The Geek Atlas Companion iPhone app is now available on iTunes, making it even easier to get your holiday geek on. The app is specially priced at $2.99 for a limited time, and I think it's definitely worth the money.

In the TechRepublic gallery of The Geek Atlas Companion iPhone app, I provide screenshots of the app. Highlights of the Companion app include being able to search for sites nearest you, learn about most of the sites via Wikipedia and quizzes, and upload photos of your geeky vacations.
