For some of us, there is no such thing as too much desktop real estate. The multi-tasking world we live in is always calling on us to do more things on our PCs at the same time. One way to expand desktop real estate is provided by the Matrox TripleHead2Go.
The Triple Digital Edition of the TripleHead2Go can expand a single video signal across three separate monitors without requiring the addition of new video adapters. This little blue box is powered by a USB connection which makes it quite portable. However, while the device itself is portable, working its magic requires a VGA or DVI input cable, three DVI output cables, and three monitors, preferably with the same native resolutions.
In general, I like the TripleHead2Go. It works exactly as advertised, which is always a pleasant surprise. But I can't help but wonder if a more elegant solution would be to buy a larger single monitor. Granted you can't get a 3048 X 800 resolution like you can with the TripleHead2Go, but you can get a substantial amount of real estate.
