TechRepublic has started a new gallery series in preparation for the upcoming holidays: Desktop Toys. If you are in the gift giving spirit around the office, you probably need some gift ideas. It is often tough to find an appropriate gift for your cubicle neighbor, especially one that is inexpensive but still fun and lighthearted.
The first gift on our list is the USB Desk Lamp. Check out the gallery to see if this is a gift you would like to give or perhaps receive. There will be more to come over the next few weeks, so be on the lookout for some gift ideas.
Out of sheer curiosity, I was wondering about what experiences TechRepublic members have had in the office gift receiving department? What is worst gift you have ever received from a co-worker or boss? What is the best? What was the weirdest? What gift did you find really creepy? Take a picture of it if you still have it and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line 'Office Gifts' and we will add it to a photo gallery and publish it on the site for all to see. Be sure to describe it for us because we may not know what it is just by the picture.
