Kids' building blocks = Ultimate computer interface

This video excerpt from the TED conference shows a demo for Siftables, an experimental new computer interface that looks a great deal like the love child of an iPhone, a Wiimote, and a Tamagotchi. The inspiration? Kids’ building blocks. Sadly, we all know that when this system goes mainstream, it will mostly get (mis)used making an infinite volume of PowerPoint presentations. Stupid technology.
