Steampunk PC

A couple of weeks ago, Wired ran a photo gallery of some impressively modified PCs with some brazenly advanced and artistic liquid cooling systems. I was very impressed, until I saw this water-cooled steampunk standard-bearer, which looks like a desktop PC straight out of a Jules Verne novel!

I found this beauty via BoingBoing, but the original site–with far more pictures of the rig and its accompanying steampunk mouse, keyboard and monitor, if you scroll down a bit–is in Russian (I think). I like it even better than the eye-grabbing Cray 2 Waterfall or this gratuitous liquid-nitrogen cooling mod. But then, I’ve always had a soft spot for literary-inspired design.
