The Apple MacBook cracked open

The Apple Computer MacBook released in late 2009 is redesigned, and we felt, along with our collaborators at iFixit, that it was worth a cracking open look.

The Apple MacBook has been redesigned with a polycarbonate unibody construction that more closely matches the styles exhibited by other Apple products. Our fellow curious geeks over at iFixit decided to take a look at the insides of this new MacBook to see what, if anything, has changed since we last opened one up for a look.

This latest Apple MacBook is just another example of Apple engineers and designers continuing to fine-tune their craft. The Cracking Open Photo Gallery shows the refinements.

iFixit is a one-stop-shop for the parts, tools, and repair manuals needed to fix iPods, iPhones, Macs, and more. They make it easy for anyone to repair their Apple hardware. Follow along as iFixit engineers disassemble the MacBook.
