ThinkGeek sells a very nice replica original phaser for $30, boasting that "With full lights and sound, the only thing this phaser can't do is really fire." Yeah, well, we can fix that now. It may not fend off angry Hortas or put the kibosh on mislead gangster-imitating offworlders, but it will do serious retinal damage and strike a blow for affordable high-definition media players. Or something.
