This commercial for EDS consulting is supposed to inspire confidence in the company's ability to build your business as your run your business, but what it really does is illustrate the supreme idiocy of trying to <em>use</em> a software product while you're still <em>coding</em> the software product. Unintentional comedy at its finest.

This commercial for EDS consulting is supposed to inspire confidence in the company's ability to build your business as your run your business, but what it really does is illustrate the supreme idiocy of trying to use a software product while you're still coding the software product. Unintentional comedy at its finest.

Too, too many IT folks have been asked to do precisely this ill-advised and often impossible task, myself included. The fact that the marketing and management suits think this philosophy is one worth advertising says more about the business-engineering disconnect than I ever could.
