Google Apps

Andrew Shen adds a deeper search feature to Google Plus

Andrew Shen has written a free Web app called Google Search Plus that adds the ability to search for both Profiles and content to Google Plus.

For some reason yet to be explained, to me at least, the default ability to search within Google Plus is limited to Google Profiles. Want to find Google Plus posts on a particular subject? Sorry, not possible - until now.

TechRepublic regular, Andrew Shen, has written a free Web app called Google Search Plus that adds the ability to search for Profiles and content to Google Plus. The free app is available at Chromefans.org.

The app is available as a Chrome Extension, Android App and as a Web browser add-on for Firefox, Internet Explorer or Chrome. Google may add this feature to Google Plus someday, but until then you can use Google Search Plus.

Thanks go to Andrew Shen for sending us the link.

I'm tired of hearing about Google +; don't really care until they allow us ordinary folks to participate.

Anyone can get Google + - you just need an invite.
