What are the worst iPhone apps? Submit your picks

Takeaway: I’ve posted my list of the most useful iPhone apps. But, how about the worst ones? Which apps disappoint, are over-priced, or have a bad user experience?

I’ve posted my list of the 25 must-have third-party apps for the iPhone. But, how about the worst ones? Which apps disappoint, are over-priced, or have a terrible user experience?

I’d like to publish that list, too, but I’d like your help with it. Think about which iPhone apps have caused you the most frustration and resentment. I’m especially looking for:

  • Apps that were a waste of money
  • Apps that were a waste of time
  • Apps that were a big disappoint
  • Apps that just weren’t as good as they could have been

Of course, the most infamous iPhone app of all-time might be the “I Am Rich” app (below), which cost $999 and did nothing but attempt to make a lot of unearned money for its creator, German developer Armin Heinrich. Apple initially approved the app and eight people bought it before Apple got wise and removed it from the App Store.
