Poll: Are you developing in-house iOS apps for your enterprise?

Takeaway: There are over 500,000 iOS Apps just for the iPhone, but that doesn’t mean any of them do what you need them to do.

According to the Apple App Store, there are over 500,000 applications available just for the iPhone. That’s an awful lot of applications, but that still doesn’t mean that there is the specific application you need for your enterprise. I mean, I doubt very seriously your business requires employees to have the Flashlight app.

So, the question I’d like to consider today has to do with in-house, enterprise-specific iOS App development. Are you developing applications that are peculiar to your organization? Is the development an official undertaking or are you dabbling in iOS development to assess the possibilities?

And while we ponder those questions, for the purpose of this blog, what aspects of iOS development are raising the most obstacles for you? Is there an aspect of iOS development that you’d like to delve deeper into?
