Time Machine, a back-up tool that comes bundled with Apple's new Leopard OS, has been facing several issues, and users continue to face them despite Apple announcing several workarounds.

An excerpt from Computerworld:

"The two tech notes that it's released clarify what Apple should have done as part of the normal release," said Mike Mihalik, an ombudsman and former vice president of engineering at LaCie, referring to a pair of recent support documents that address problems users have reported with the backup tool. Instead, he said, it was as if Apple "Said 'oops, we forgot to check that.'"

Time Machine brought a great (RegHardware) and easy back-up tool for all Apple users but Apple's hurry to ship it alongside Leopard may have resulted in overlooking several issues (MacFixIt).
