Linux UMPC quiz: How many can you name?

The Linux Loop blog compiled a list of UMPCs (ultra-mobile PC) in order to get a handle on the expanding options. Commenters chimed in to come up with a list of nineteen different offerings. Did you know there were that many out there? Here are three from the list, just to get you started. How many can you come up with off the top of your head?

  1. Eee PC
  2. CloudBook
  3. OLPC

I would have missed CloudBook and OLPC. The later being missed by thinking of OLPC as a ruggedized notebook rather than handtop UMPC. I'd have included Nokia's N800/N810 due to versatility beyond a basic browsing tablet also. I've even seen screenshots of Enlightenment and KDE running on it with standard X apps beyond the regular programs available through the maemo distribution.

But not all of those particular ones. Maybe I'm just too geekie, I thought just about all gizmos were Ultra and mobile some-kina-PC, after one cleaned the krap-ware out of them. :^0 -d Good post BTW, keep it (Linux) comming. -d
