Anyone that's used a Windows application knows that can usually find helpful information in the Status bar. You can use this to advantage by displaying context appropriate clues during custom operations using the Status Bar property. For instance, the following procedure in Word displays a reminder to save changes:
Private Sub Document_Open()
Application.StatusBar = "Please be sure to save your changes."
Access is the exception to the rule, as usual. Set a control's StatusBarText property to appropriate text for that control.
