Remove the lines from your Access form headers and footers

Adding a picture to a form background can create a nice effect -- but the form header line can spoil it. Here's how to eliminate the line so you have a smooth, uninterrupted background image.

You've just added a picture as a background to your form and now notice the line separating the header from the rest of the form. For a more attractive appearance, you would like a continuous background. Follow these steps to remove the header line:

  1. Open the Form in Design View.
  2. Click on the All tab in the form's Property sheet.
  3. Click in the Dividing Lines property text box.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow and select No.

Now your form background will no longer be divided by the header line, as shown below. (You can also use this property to remove footer lines on your form.)
