A Word user calls with an interesting request. A document comprises two sections and she’s using the x of y page numbering scheme. Page numbering for the first section is working fine. By unlinking the second section from the first and setting the {Page} field to start with the new section, she has the x component in the second section working correctly. The {NUMPAGES} field, however, reflects the total number of pages in the document, not the section. She needs the y component to display the total number of pages in the second section, not the document. Can you help her?

Office challenge: How would you display the total page numbers in a section?
Takeaway: Configure the x of y page numbering format where y reflects the position of the current page within the section, rather than the total document page count.
