Poll: Who makes the technical decisions in your organization?

Takeaway: Take this poll to let us know whether a business manager, a technical manager, a senior tech person, line staff, or the team makes the technical decisions in your organization.

Different organizations work differently when it comes to making technical decisions, such as which database to use or whether to use .NET or Java. I have seen organizations allow business managers with little or no technical knowledge make these decisions, as well as the expected assortment of technical managers, senior technical employees, and line staff, or sometimes even follow a group decision making process.
