I wanted to ask where the infographic came from. Different sources quote different figures for different reasons and it may help to know the context behind these particular stats.
It is perfectly true that a lot of small companies don't take security seriously enough. I've seen it take successful hack attacks before companies wise up and do anything about their security before. It's well worth reminding people that basic security is easy and necessary in the SME space but we have to be careful who's take we use to give out that message as many firms have ulterior motives and less than accurate stats.
