Welcome to the App Builder blog!

Mobile app development is one of the hottest areas in IT. TechRepublic's new App Builder blog helps you navigate the technical and marketing aspects of that world.

With the world of mobile app development exploding, there are a lot of people out there who could use some practical advice on how to make the most of it. That's why we created the App Builder blog.

In this blog you can expect to read tutorials on basic API features, new development features in the APIs and OS updates (when released), as well as cautionary tales from the world of coding. We'll also offer real-world tips for getting apps published and running a business as an app developer.

Our experts include, among others, William Francis, who, specializing in embedded and mobile platforms, has more than 20 years of professional software engineering under his belt, and Kyle Miller, a senior software engineer specializing in web/Android development.

A newsletter highlighting published posts in the App Builder blog will begin at the end of the June, so I encourage you to add it to your list of subscribed newsletters when it becomes available.

They did say to "add it to your list of subscribed newsletters WHEN it becomes available" which won't be till end of June. But putting in the link was just confusing I agree - they should have left that part off. Hopefully they will provide the link again when they formally announce that the newsletter is launched.

OK, so there's a link that takes me to my subscribed newsletters, but nowhere on the list is the App Builder blog newsletter...

Not too bright of them to advertise with no way to sign up. I'll have completely forgotten by the time they get it on the list. Oh well, hopefully the invitation will repeat once they have their act together.

I will have forgotten by the time you read this.
