Calling all tech chiefs: Join TechRepublic's CIO Jury, share your opinions on vital tech issues

We want CIOs, CTOs and IT directors and other tech chiefs to share their opinions on the big issues facing the world of technology.
If you are the head of IT at an organisation large or small and want to share your opinions on the biggest tech issues of the day, you should join TechRepublic's CIO Jury.

We're currently looking for new members who want to share their opinions by being part of our quick-and-easy poll of technology leaders that has been running for a number of years.

Here's how it works: every two weeks, the TechRepublic editors send a question out by email to the CIO Jury, a group of IT directors and CIOs across the world.

Members of the CIO Jury respond to the question with a simple yes or no. The first 12 IT leaders who submit their votes make up that week's CIO Jury, and their names are listed at the bottom of the story announcing the results.

If members have strong feelings about a subject they can add more comments if they want. These comments will then be quoted in the resulting CIO Jury article.

While the overall vote and the names of the jury will be revealed, the specific votes of the individual jury members will not be disclosed.

We'll also include comments from other CIOs who weren't among the first 12 respondents but still took the time to reply and include their thoughts.

The CIO Jury is a smart way for leading CIOs and IT directors to share their opinions with the rest of the tech world. It lets the industry know who you are - and what you think.  You can be involved regularly or just once in a while, it's entirely up to you.

To qualify as a member you should be a head of an IT department and control an IT budget.
Your job title does not have to be CIO; it can be CTO, IT director or vice president of IT, for example. You can work in the public or private sector, anywhere in the world.

Please note - we're not accepting CIOs who work for technology vendors, or those who are a one-person IT department.

If you'd like to join TechRepublic's CIO Jury, click the 'Contact' link below or email me (steve dot ranger at cbsinteractive dot com ) and send your name, title, company, location, and email address and I'll add you to the list.

And even if you aren't interested in joining, we'd like to hear suggestions for CIO Jury questions from the TechRepublic community. To submit a potential CIO Jury question, again, simply email or click the 'Contact' link.
