Maybe it’s because gas prices have shot to over $3/gallon in my area but I really got into reading a new book chapter that we’re offering here on TechRepublic. The chapter is called “Nanotechnology and Our Energy Challenge” and it’s from the book Nanotechnology: Science, Innovation, and Opportunity by Lynn Foster. In this chapter (which you can download here), Foster postulates that nontechnology could be the key to changing the storage and transportation of energy in order to provide clean, cheap, and continually available energy to a planet of 10 billion people by the middle of this century. Very interesting read. It’s worth taking a look.
