Back by popular demand: TechRepublic's IT policy templates

By far, the most popular product in the history of the TechRepublic library of premium products has been our IT Professional's Guide to Policies and Procedures. Since we first launched it in 2001, it has not only been a best seller, but we've gotten a flood of great feedback from users telling us that these templates saved them a lot of time and money, as well as the headache of building the policies from scratch.

Since the end of 2006, when we stopped selling Books and CDs and moved our catalog entirely to electronic products, we have not been selling the Policies and Procedures bundle. However, the Third Edition is now for sale again, and we're even offering it at a lower price. The entire collection (see the table of contents) is available as an electronic download for $89. We previously sold the CD for $129.

If you already have a yearly TechRepublic Pro subscription, then you can download the Policies and Procedures bundle here for free. If you do not have a TechRepublic Pro subscription and you're interested in other premium electronic downloads besides just Policies and Procedures, then you should consider buying one. A one year subscription costs $99 and gives you unlimited access to all of the premium downloads in the catalog.

If you download the IT Professional's Guide to Policies and Procedures, let me know what you think about the product and what we can do to make it better. I'd particularly like to hear suggestions for new policies that we could add to the Fourth Edition. Join the discussion.

I'd like to see a sample IT Internal Controls Risk Acceptance Policy.

you may have to do a search. Afterall, the original post is almost three years old and the site has gone through an overhaul since then.
