It hadn't been an issue as I usually spot the videos and audio articles when I'm at work and don't have the time to run them. I just remembered th check back on this one but ran into the missing flash plugin when going to hit play. (I'll have to go learn the plugin wrapper; it seems to work well for others.) Any chance of adding an mp3 or ogg link for these audio articles though? The content is already out there, it'd just be providing it without the flash wrapper as a secondary option.

in this series. And I've been wondering when apotheon was up. I enjoy reading you, sir, in addition to learning a lot from you, and recommending your blogs to my students. Enjoyable interview, nice to know a bit more about you. As usual, it's good to put a voice to a name and avatar. Thank you both, very, very much! :)

It was about time that I started including some of TR's contributor writers in the mix! Take a few minutes to listen to this Inside TechRepublic interview with Chad Perrin, the Host of the IT Security blog -- also known in the forums as apotheon.

One of my favorite things to hear is that someone introduces students to my writing. There's little in life that can compare to that in terms of giving me a sense of pride in the quality of my work.

Moments after our conversation ended, I realized I had somehow managed to forget three "hobbies" that consume significant chunks of my time: 1. reading voraciously 2. playing electric bass (badly) 3. writing, both fiction and non- Thanks for inviting me to participate in the Inside TechRepublic series.

I'm not sure how I missed it in the past but I'll be looking for that link in the future. I always have time for an audio file during the work commute.

yes, you have been a big help to many, so Thank You! Also to mention, for those that do not know (and may be interested), Apotheon helped to persuade me to give Linux another try several years ago. Since I took his advice, I am now not bound to MS solutions for everything Thanks Again Chad!

this was *the* one interview I wanted to hear and was not disappointed - Thank you. The passing on of knowledge is the greatest gift anyone can offer.

It's strange that I never heard your voice before, considering we've been talking to each other virtually for more than two years now.
