I'd love to email Mark Kaelin to show him what Windows 7 does with the quick launch task bar after a reboot, but there does not seem to be a simply way to provide feedback. After getting the quick launch recovered within Windows 7, and after getting the task bar exactly as I want it and "locked" .. a reboot scrambles everything on the taskbar, and does not preserve my previous settings.

Has Inferious's head grown so big no one else can get inside an instance?

Mark is mostly known for his work with the Cracking Open galleries, but he does a lot more on the site than just take pretty pictures. Listen to the interview, and then feel free to ask Mark questions that weren't covered in the podcast.

At the top of each article is a blue 'Contact' link. Go to Mark's 'W7 Toolbar' article and look at the top.

Ask me anything and I'll answer if I can. Here's one bit of trivia: I have 6 working computers at home - 3 are idle while I try to figure out what I want to do with them.
