If I make it to #1 it's over. You hear? OVer.

It's a dirty job being the leading poster of relevant, coherent, factually accurate Linux material, but somebody's gotta defend those flightless waterfowl. Speaking of CaptBilly1Eye, anybody heard from the Low Country master of avatars lately? Maybe his path just isn't crossing mine as much as it used to.

I've been there done that with both my main TR Accounts and survived. Mind you the scary thing is having 2 places in the Top 100 that is something you should be careful to avoid. ;) Unlike me who has 2 listings in the top 30. ?:| Col

He makes fairly regular appearances at Facebook, along with many of the other TR folks that don't hang out at TR much anymore. Fortunately, at FB you can choose your friends and don't have to put up with the b******t some TR members spew, including me, I guess.

Ends. We will know by a glow on the horizon that begins where Col is.

there's nothing that says you have to provide accurate information when you set up an account, assuming your ethics (or mine) don't block you (or me) from doing so.

Even in the best of cases, you'll still have to trust Darth Zuckenhoff that it is so...

Before I even visit the domain? It would be much appreciated if I knew a little more about a "fly on the wall" account. Because, basically, there are a couple hundred people I don't care to run into, not even to say, "no".

It'd be all business... But I'm on the fence.

After much exhortation by others and foot-dragging by me. I found the little-noticed codicil about a "Fly On The Wall Account". That's how I keep it. Fly on the wall.

Maybe one day I will accidentally make a facebook account, but I doubt it will be my real name.

I just can't bring myself to set up on Facebook. I'm here mostly for the technical content; the social is a fringe benefit.
