Called at 0700, there's a server down in Savannah, won't ping, the customer can't find it. ?:| One Savannah tech quit in a huff, the other is off today; I'm the closest alternative. Drive to Savannah as fast as I can without breaking too many speed laws (but bending all of them well beyond recognition). Arrive on site at about 1030, server is up, app monitor says "The system is good." Server pings, application clients ping, everything pings. Call the SME, she logs in and says "Nothing wrong." Customer says, "Oh, yeah, it's been working fine the last couple of hours. Did we need to cancel the ticket?" :0

Hope the rest of your Memorial Day weekend is going better. I can only imagine where Scummy would have run with that, but it would have been great.

Did they? I mean, did they live to regret not doing so?

Not in that sense of the word, although the customer is charged per ticket. It would have saved them a few dollars.

But I've felt the presence of him, here, strong enough to feel like I'd known him.

TR is still there, even though I'm not (as much). You'd think it didn't revolve around me. :^0

And it's good to see you - even if you're not able to spend as much time here as before.

It's available in Chicago, California, and the Northeast. I'll see if I can get one of my brothers to pick some up and ship it down. If I can, I'll bring it to the gathering. I'd like to give it a try myself.

Will not let me mail to you, do you have it turned off or is it still not fully functional? Anyhoo, sent you a message on Facebook.

I will ask my local dude, see if I can acquire any locally. Oh, and by the way, check BFilmFan's Facebook wall, hope he gets through this.

if you ever get the chance to, try Glen Breton Single Malt Whiskey(it wasn't made in Scotland so it can not be called scotch)...it's awesome!!! Darryl bought me some last year. As for wine: this evening i'm enjoying a bottle of Voga Quattro. It's a really nice blend of four different Italian reds. I've never been one for reds, but this one and another called Menage a Trois are currently my faves :) . Hope everyone has a most splendid weekend :D ! added links: http://www.folieadeux.com/mat/red.html Menage a Trois Voga> http://www.vogaitalia.com/english/index.html Glen Breton Whiskey http://www.glenoradistillery.com/smw.html
