Gates wants to quadruple the number of Defense Department cyber experts

Defense Secretary Robert Gates believes cyber attacks will be an enduring problem for the US and wants to quadruple the number of Defense Department cybersecurity experts.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates sat down for an interview with Katie Couric and was asked about a Wall Street Journal report that computer spies stole secret information about the F-35. During the interview, Gates said that "we are under cyber-attack virtually all the time" and cited his desire to quadruple the number of the Defense Department's cyber experts.
