One of the newest and really cool features of Windows Vista is Windows Collaboration. Windows Collaboration is a peer-to-peer (P2P) program that allows 2-10 people to work together remotely on projects as if they were in the same room.
What I really like about Windows collaboration is that it will configure an ad-hoc network if an existing wired or wireless network is not found allowing you the flexibility to collaborate on project literally anywhere.
After playing around with this feature, I was pleased with the outcome. I can see this being very useful for support as well. It would be easy for a help desk to connect to end-user computers and troubleshoot computer issues.
The only negative I see so far is that you must be running Windows Vista in order to take advantage of Windows Collaboration. Not everyone is going to upgrade to Vista so I believe we should have Windows Collaboration compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional.
