How do I adjust my autoplay settings in Windows Vista?

In this post, you will learn how to adjust your CD or DVD when placed in the drive bay.

Did you know that when you insert a CD or DVD into your computer, you have the options of changing you're the AutoPlay settings when a CD or DVD is launched? Let me continue.

Let's start by clicking the Start ORB and type Default Programs in the Instant Search field. Next, choose Change AutoPlay settings (Figure A).

Figure A. Change AutoPlay settings.

On this window, you can choose the default option that you want for different types of media. For example, let's choose the default action to take when placing a DVD movie in the CD-ROM drive. I want to use Roxio's CinePlayer so by choosing this option, this will be my default decision every time I put a DVD movie in my computer. At any point you can also restore the system defaults by clicking the Reset all Defaults button.
