Magnifier: Cool Tool in Windows Vista

And that it is infact the EXACT same tool? I prefer the magnifier attached to my mouse anyways. That works slick

I want to get rid of the magnifier tool which appears on start up. However, when I put 'magnifier' in the search all I get (Vista Premium) is no matching - how do I get the table shown? brianbeel@alktalk.net

I still think take the nice look of Windows Vista and use the Operating System of Windows XP then you would have a descent operating system that the average Joe could use and be productive with. Signed: just an opinion

The X Window System has had xmag (a magnification utility) for as long as I remember. I've found [url=http://stuff.mit.edu/afs/athena/system/x11r4/man/mann/]references to xmag that go back to 1990[/url] via Google. I suspect xmag has been around quite a bit longer than that -- possibly to the public release date of X11 in 1987, or even earlier with pre-11 releases of the X Window System.

Once the magnifier was closed then the window with possible setting don't appears; so you have no more control over it ? How to get back the settings window ?
