On February 22, 2011, I asked the readers of the TechRepublic Microsoft Windows Blog this poll question:
That was the day Microsoft made the Windows Service Pack 1 available to the general public. I was curious how many IT pros would take a cautious approach to the first Windows 7 service pack and how many would deploy immediately.
However, the results don't show a clear winner between the two choices, with the more conservative "wait and see" crowd edging the "jump in wholeheartedly" crowd.
So, I guess now that a month has passed since its release, the question to ask is: Have you deployed Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on your company's PCs? If you have, how did it go and are you satisfied with the results? If you haven't, what are you waiting for — is there a particular concern?
