Windows Vista & iTunes

I have heard many complaints this past week that iTunes is not properly working in Windows Vista. In order to get it working properly, you have to take advantage of the compatibility tab. Here is the quick fix.

  1. Install iTunes.
  2. Right-click on the desktop shortcut or program and click Properties.
  3. Select the Compatibility tab.
  4. Either select Run this program as Administrator or choose Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2.

Clicking this stuff in would be heart pounding for most."I thought that computers would be really automatic"."I did not know that you needed a computer for iPod to work".

How else did you plan on getting the music or files onto the IPOD? It has to connect to something.

(I hope) he was being just a little Sarcastic. -d (I've met people who have actually come up with that. And want to have a service call to load their MP3 player.)

asking me how to setup their cell phones with bluetooth to their systems how to download and setup ITunes how to configure their radio stations how to bypass the proxy server for instant messaging how to surf wildly to any website and not leave logs on our servers how to install pdas to receive their email bypassing procedures/policies and many many more But I have not had anyone as of yet ask for an mp3 setup -- lol. and yes, I am guessing at sarcasm, otherwise he is an idiot. But that may be the case, I have avoided commenting on his posts because of this.
