Darryl West

Lloyds TSB | Group CIO

Darryl West joined the Lloyds TSB group in March 2005, and in February 2006 was appointed as the group's CIO.

West's agenda as CIO is to create a world class IT function that differentiates Lloyds TSB in the UK market. His team has established a strong enterprise architecture focus and is driving an innovative group-wide simplification programme.

His team has forged strategic partnerships with several Indian software companies and are extensive users of the Indian sourcing model.

Prior to joining Lloyds TSB, West held various IT and business management positions in the financial services sector. The majority of his career was with JPMorganChase, and he has also spent time with Accenture and the National Australia Group (Europe). He has extensive international experience, having worked in Australia, France, Germany, the UK and the USA.

He holds degrees in Commerce and Computer Science from Deakin University in Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
