Group CIO | Belron
Jill Lucas is group CIO of Belron, a vehicle glass repair company whose brands include Autoglass and Carglass. Lucas took up the role in 2009 - joining after a stint at Reuters as one of four business-facing directors of information, services and technology.
At Belron, Lucas has been in charge of an IT transformation programme aimed at delivering a common, scalable platform that supports the company's growth plans and ensures it is well positioned to exploit technology innovations. She is also a member of the Belron executive team.
The early part of her career was spent at Sainsbury's in a variety of IT roles, including IT programme manager - at the same time as conducting post-graduate studies in information systems design at the University of Westminster. Lucas then moved to Barclays, first as IT client relationship director and later as infrastructure services director.Return to list
