Consultants often require a very high ethical standard when pursuing clients and performing work for them. These strict standards are required to ensure the best interest of the client and the security of all data that the consultant may come in contact with. A consultant's conduct not only reflects on them personally and their firm, but also the client organization for which they work.

This policy provides a template for consultants and consulting firms to build from in creating a standard code of ethics and conduct with clients and potential clients.
