Take advantage of Windows Explorer's Navigation Pane

While Vista's Windows Explorer provides you with what appears to be a standard Folders pane, just like the previous versions of Windows, the Vista version is actually called the Navigation pane and it consists of two sections -- the Folders section and the Favorite Links section. In this edition of the Windows Vista Report, Greg Shultz takes a closer look at the features in the new Navigation pane. He shows you how you can use these features to improve efficiency and wean yourself from the folder tree.
