Use this simple Access application to catalog MP3s and other files

IT pro Tim Chapman created a handy application that makes it easy to generate a listing of files in a specified folder. He originally wrote the app so he could build an Access table containing his MP3 files, but he's modified it to round up any specified file type.

All you have to do is open the database to display a simple form, enter the desired directory and file extension, and click the Get Files! button. The app will create a record for each file it finds. One more button click, and you'll have a report that lists all the files matching your specifications.
