Yes the debugger is available in Mozilla (Netscape 7.0 is the version I have), but it does not offer an IDE. I am searching for the complete package - IDE with solid debugger.
A great tool for generating java scripts. It saves time and you don't have to revise all functions used in java scripting.
Any ideas on why a complete JavaScript editor does not exist? Perhaps because of the uneven support for the language in various browsers?
That is a good question, and I think you are on the right track - inconsistent support causes problems. Also, it is often not considered 'real' programming (scripting language) so it is often overlooked.
I know tools like VS.NET, DreamWeaver, Domino Designer provide estensive JavaScript development support.
