I'm glad you didn't jump the VB ship all together. I still value your writings on the subject!

hi,

yeah, i was going to say the same thing.
It is not working on "BuildTree". It has a Run-time error '91' : Object variable or with block variable not set on "TextNode.nodeValue". I don't know how to fix it.

It does not seem to work. Please provide us with the full working example.

I did little tweeking but it does not seem to work.

Excellent article - was mucking around all afternoot trying to make sense of XML DOM navigation using VB6 and MSXML - now all crystal clear.

So thanks!
Thanks so much for writing this, it's gotten me leaps ahead of where I was, but I'm stumped at the code in listing B. I've gotten through A & B, and can create a very simple XML doc, but I cannot create an attribute at the root node, and I've created several elements under the root, but I don't see them in the resulting file after I do a save.

If anyone else is still looking at this, and can provide help, I'll be happy to provide the code I've got so far, and the resulting output.

Thanks.
This article really opened the door for me in working with XML docs via vb6. however how do i move to the next article, because i need to know how to save the xml elements into a file after creating them.
