As I recall, JMX has had a pretty topsy-turvy history -- it has been shelved and recalled by SUN several times until now.

As far as I know, the _only_ software using MBeans is JBoss

[The Web site also has _lots_ of material on MBeans.]

So I would like to know, "is it ready for prime-time?"

Cheers,
Avi.

JBoss is exceptional in that the entire product is built around JMX - they've really gone for JMX in big way. However, lots of other products from Apache Tomcat to BEA Weblogic either incorporate or support it (i.e. OpenView). I saw a list of between 20 and 40 products posted somewhere. I wanted to post you a link but couldn't recall where I saw the list. Sorry...will do so later if I come across it.

Cheers

One more point for JSR 262 to connect JMX MBean from WS side.
