I've used many programming languages and quite a few reporting tools. I use Access for many different things, like prototyping a concept, performing data quality reviews, creating automatic data connections for Excel, etc, etc.
In addition, everywhere I go they have some version of Access. So, it doesn't cost the client anything but my time to run the apps I create for them. And, I can sometimes find a "super user" that I can turn the app over to if it isn't too complex, which the client loves.
How does Alpha chalk up to these issues?
