Hi. I'm the author of the article. The examples were specifically designed to work with Flash MX. What version of Flash are you currently using? Perhaps I can help you out. happy
Hi David,

Seems like the Listing code view's link are damaged. I can't seem to get to view the codes. It brings me to a page saying that the Listing pages are not found for this article.

Regards,
Mick
Why does the Flash XML parser work faster with attributes than with child nodes? Can someone please explain this, or at least point to a document? Many thanks!

Tried to download the example file. I registered myself on the techrepublic site, still nothing. But when searching for "xml flash builder.com" I soon found the correct article. Unfortunately it links to a file on ftp.download.com which isn't available anymore. I've given up on this one.
i have an XML document where url's have query strings like your name=BillGates&email=billg@microsoft.com

except that the ampersands were converted to & by the xml transformer, resulting in:
name=BillGates&email=billg@microsoft.com

will flash be ok with this?

thanks

I can't find the sample files for this article. It really helps to see what you are describing before writing about it. "Show, then tell"
Hi there,
This is great artivle, but where is the sample which I can download and see it working.

There is link which says "click here to download code" but takes you to http://techrepublic.com.com/2001-6240-0.html , and there is nothing related to this article.

Thanks!
