Is this the typical lingo for transactions? I have looked elsewhere to verify preauth, postauth and sale terminology. I can't find any. Could you direct me to your source for these terms?

BTW - I agree that credit card processing is all about transactions. However, we use the terms: authorization, capture, settlment, return, reversal and chargeback.
